 Edgewright Sharpening Service specializes in restoring the edge on your knives, scissors and other edged tools.

I have over ten years of experience through my journey in knife making and sharpening. My attention to detail and passion for knives and other edged tools truly stands out in my work as I take great pride in what I do.

A note about hair scissors:

Precise sharpening of edged tools requires maintaining proper angles and bevels as well as removing as little material as possible to reach optimal sharpness.  This is especially true with the fragile edge that beauty and grooming scissors and shears are designed to hold.  These edges can be very delicate and precise.  As a result they are easily put out of commission if improper sharpening techniques are used.  You can be confident in knowing that your scissors and shears will be sharpened and tuned the way they were designed to be from the factory.  

Knife services:

$6 per knife up to 10" blade length. Knives with a heavily chipped cutting edge and/or broken tip will be reshaped back into service at no additional charge.

Other tools:

Beauty scissors including thinners, bevel and convex edge.  Worn or missing bumpers and washers will be replaced as needed at no additional charge $30

All styles of grooming scissors $20

Clipper blades-grooming, veterinary, barber $10/set

Large upholstery shears $15

Utility/household scissors $10

Needle holders $6

Bandage and other medical scissors $6

Dental elevators $8

Axes/hatchets $8 per cutting edge

Machetes $10

Pizza cutters $6

Hedge shears $10

Pruning shears (long handle and short) $10

Mower blades $10
